Why am I running for the CPAS elections?

I wish to contribute to creating an inclusive, sustainable, and livable community where every resident feels at home and has the opportunity to live there in safety.

My work within the CPAS Council focuses on four priorities to ensure the well-being and social inclusion of people in precarious situations, with the aim of fostering better community living.”

My 4 priorities for better community living

  1. Financial and material assistance: Providing social integration income to people who lack sufficient resources, as well as material support for basic needs such as food, housing, and clothing.
  2. Social support: Listening and offering personalized social support, including administrative, legal, and psychological assistance to help beneficiaries overcome the challenges they face.
  3. Socio-professional integration: Helping with entry or re-entry into the labor market by guiding beneficiaries toward training, internships, and tailored employment programs, thus facilitating their autonomy.
  4. Home care: Developing social and intergenerational initiatives (such as the mutual aid tool https://www.wezembeek-oppem.be/fr/hoplr) to promote the autonomy of seniors and enable them to remain in their homes.

My passions

My family and our friends, current events, sports (walking), cultural activities (travel, theater, concerts…), and music.
My community, Wezembeek-Oppem, where we have happily lived for 30 years.
